At the most recent meeting, the Council resolved to approve expenditure to repair and improve the Stone Castle Park, Lower Playground.

Recent vandalism, along with 20 years of wear and tear means that a high level of replacements are now required to bring the park up to scratch. Members voted unanimously to approve the replacements and the works are expected to take place this autumn.

Chairperson Lucy Canham said, “The upgrade will be very welcome. The new playground at Stone Recreation Ground has been a resounding success and we are keen to extend these improvements across the whole Parish.”
