BarSince opening in 2011 Stone Pavilion has catered for over 2500 private events. These range from birthday parties to baby showers and more! We pride ourselves on provide the highest quality of experience and our bar staff play a key role in achieving this. For this role you will be required to work weekends and this will include unsociable hours on some Saturday nights. An increase in hourly pay is applied to these hours as compensation.

You will provide support as part of a team to …

• ensure hirers are effectively welcomed
• prepare and serve refreshments for bookings, conferences and weddings
• ensure the cleanliness of bar facilities before, between and following bookings
• make records of any accidents or incidents while on duty
• empty rubbish and recycling from bins and transferring to main point
• restock supplies
• undertake training relevant to your role

You will bring …

• the ability to understand what is required in your role and how this contributes to team priorities. A personal license is preferred but not essential.
• an enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful approach to work
• previous customer service or bar experience
• good judgement and the ability to confidently respond in situations
• a hardworking approach with flexibility to suit the hours and needs of the role
• a positive “can-do” attitude

Key outcomes will include:

• receiving positive feedback from hirers regarding the customer service experience and the high standard of the facilities
• experiencing the smooth-running of council facilities while on duty with no problems or complaints
• achieving a high level of communication and effective team working to support the council’s high-performance standards

Hours & Salary

Hours: Flexible, dependent upon bookings
Salary: £10.90ph including local allowance
