Katie LynchIn the recent election in Castle Ward, Stone Parish Council is pleased to announce that Councillor Katie Lynch of the Swanscombe and Greenhithe Resident’s Association has been duly elected.

Katie has lived in Greenhithe for 12 years and runs her own consultancy business which audits government projects. She champions the protection of our green spaces across the parish and beyond, which she often enjoys during long walks with her Australian Silky Terrier, called Bizzle. Katie is also passionate about community safety and runs several Neighbourhood Watches in Castle Ward.

Councillor Lynch expressed her thanks to those who voted for her in the election and said “I am looking forward to being a part of Stone Parish Council, my main focus will be ensuring Castle Ward residents are fully represented and that any concerns they have are appropriately addressed. I have joined at an exciting time, with the upcoming referendum of the Neighbourhood Plan. Which if adopted, alongside other benefits, should result in increased sums of development tax being directly invested in Stone Parish.”
