Three words pinned to a line saying Have Your SayDo you or anyone you know commute to London regularly, or did so before the current pandemic?   The Crossrail to Ebbsfleet (C2E) Partnership has launched a public consultation on options for improving transport links between Abbey Wood and Ebbsfleet and would like to hear from you.

C2E’s proposals would provide faster connections into London and other parts of Kent, making journeys by public transport quicker and more attractive and reducing the need for travel by car.  Even if working habits change because of the pandemic, access to high quality transport links will remain important to our daily lives, and we encourage residents to complete an online survey to share their views on three possible options – potential extensions to the Elizabeth Line between Abbey Wood, Dartford and Northfleet; other improvements to the existing rail network; and a ‘bus rapid-transit’ (BRT) linking Abbey Wood with the existing Fastrack BRT service from Dartford to Ebbsfleet and Gravesham.

Deadline for submission of responses is by 28th February 2021.  There will be a further opportunity to submit views later in 2021, when the number of options under consideration will have reduced and further detail is available on each option.
