As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, at the full council meeting of 26 August 2020, members resolved to suspend delegation to committees until the annual meeting of June 2021. All necessary items have, therefore, been discussed at full council meetings and are minuted accordingly. In the Annual Meeting of June 2021, the members resolved to approve a Scheme of Delegation which maintains the ongoing cycle of full council meetings and no committee meetings.
Prior to Covid-19, the Council had four Committees with delegated authority to discuss and resolve certain matters which fell under their terms of reference. The minutes and agendas for each of these can still be accessed using the links below each Committee.
