Throughout the past weekend our community came together to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. We had a range of arts and crafts activities for children (and adults) to participate in, linking to the King’s passion for art and the environment. Activities included making and decorating your own birdhouse, designing your own flowerpot and planting flowers, making your own 3D royal carriage, creating a coronation crown and decorating bunting biscuits.

Lizzies, our community café based at Stone Recreation Ground, also had a special royal themed menu and we also had live music with Swinging The Lead providing entertainment for residents Saturday afternoon with Shanty and Folk songs.

We hope all those that participated had a great time! Below are a few of the photos we captured.
