Students of Stone St Mary’s Primary School recently participated in an Art project commissioned by Stone Parish Council.  Students were asked to create artwork inspired by the book by Sally Nicholls and Carolina Rabei “Who Makes a Forest” which describes how a forest is made and how a thousand tiny things can come together to change the face of the Earth. The quality of work produced by the students was incredible, capturing the essence of the brief. Entries now have now have their work displayed in Lizzies, our community café owned and run by Stone Parish Council.

Selected entries that stood out received a certificate from Stone Parish Council in recognition of their creative efforts. We have also selected what we feel is the very best entry and they received a voucher to spend at Lizzies!

Well done to all the students who entered!
